Standard Process

As a nation, we eat poor-quality, processed foods that have been stripped of nutrients. We do not consume enough fresh fruits and vegetables. We eat a tremendous amount of prepackaged, pre-made meals. One-quarter of Americans eat at fast food restaurants each day. Americans are overfed and undernourished, and in essence starving even with a full belly…starving for nutrition.

Given proper nutrition, the human body has an amazing ability to heal itself. To do so, we need to eat a healthier diet, exercise, and take high-quality supplements. Our modern foods, even healthy foods, don’t have the same nutrients they did for our grandparents, due to soil depletion, soil microbiome disruption, large-scale farming techniques and chemicals. More and more experts are telling us we cannot get a therapeutic dose of the nutrients we need to heal from poor health with our diet alone; we need to supplement. Whole food supplements supply our bodies with nutrients we are not getting from our diet, all the vitamins, minerals, trace minerals, and phytonutrients that foods possess in a way that nature intended, in a whole food form.

Whole food supplements are made by concentrating foods for use in supplements. When processed correctly, they supply a multitude of the plant’s components. We often think that more is better, yet quality is far more important than quantity. A small amount of a vitamin in whole food form is often more effective in a healthy human body than a large dose of an isolated vitamin. Foods provide nutrients that work synergistically. There is something about a whole food that just works in a way that none of its isolated components can.

If you believe everything that is necessary for good health already exists on this planet, you’re going to love Standard Process. Available in the clinic, call 918-392-1913 to order.
